Testimonial
When it was sadly, but universally agreed by all that the pipe organ was beyond economic or justifiable repair, the Revd Dr Mark Powell and his organists very reluctantly had to consider the possibility of installing an electronic organ. Their mood when they approached us was "distinctly unimpressed with all that we have seen and heard, can you do better?"

The old pipe organ had a set of acceptable display pipes in a roomy case: this was, in fact, not only the best position from an acoustical standpoint for the organ to be, but the only position where one could place any organ, pipe or electronic, without spoiling the appearance of the church. A home was found for the old pipe organ and console, leaving the display pipes shown in the photograph
to left.

"I would like to express my deepest gratitude to you for the superb organ, which we are now proud to possess. As an organist myself, I find I am already spending too much of my limited leisure time playing our new instrument.

"The organ is absolutely excellent and reproduces very faithfully the best sounds of a first rate pipe organ. We have an instrument of great versatility, designed specifically for our particular needs. It is well able to lead congregational singing, to accompany our choir, and to interpret all schools of organ music.

"The quality and resonance of the bass, and the attention to voicing, show Copeman Hart to be the masters of their craft, and in a superior league to their competitors; they may emulate your advertising style, but cannot match your consoles or voicing. The workmanship and quality of material used in the console give the church a piece of furniture of which we can be proud."

The Revd Dr Mark Powell, Exhall Vicarage, Coventry

"When we were forced to replace our old, but much loved, pipe organ, due to limitation of cost and space we were apprehensive of finding an alternative replacement particularly after hearing some other electronic installations. Even when the final decision had to be made there was still some reluctance to go electronic.

"However, the decision was made to buy a Copeman Hart and the organ we have is beyond our original expectations and we now know we made the right decision.

"The sounds of the individual stops are most realistic and totally satisfying whilst the various choruses are exhilarating and exciting.

"The whole process was undertaken with much careful consideration and as a result we have a console, specification and case of which we can be justly proud. This is thanks to the great care, skill and understanding with which you operate."

Henry Wagstaff, Organist, St Giles, Exhall, Coventry
