"Working as a consultant on the Coleraine Methodist Church project has been both a pleasure and an education. My most difficult task was to pick my way warily through the grandiose claims made by salesmen who had perceptibly less knowledge of organ building than of glib sales technique, and it became apparent that Copeman Hart were ORGAN BUILDERS, not just agents.

"At an early stage, the church authorities asked me to assess the advantages and disadvantages of purchasing an electronic instrument. In retrospect, now that the organ is installed, I think that I considerably over-stated the disadvantages! This organ is a remarkable technological achievement, its simulation of a well-built pipe organ being almost uncannily accurate. But more importantly, it has impressed me as a musical instrument of refinement and integrity.

"Because of the careful attention given to all stages of its planning and installation (and particularly to the final voicing) the organ is superbly adapted to this particular church building, so it is not surprising that it has already proved most effective in both the worship and recital contexts. Its outstanding tonal qualities are complemented by an elegant and comfortable console of traditional design.

"I regard this organ as representing exceptional value for money, and I congratulate you heartily on its success."

Dr Donald Davison, Belfast City Organist,
University Organist, the Queen's University of Belfast
