Testimonial
For quite some time, services and other events had been accompanied on a reed organ due to the ailing state of the single manual pipe organ. The need to obtain a first class organ for the Cathedral was realised when the organ consultants and the Cathedral Chapter were convinced that only Copeman Hart could provide an organ of sufficient quality and solve the many visual and acoustic problems presented. After detailed negotiations with the Cathedral Chapter through Monsignor Carmelo Bianco, whose efforts were tireless in seeing this project through, the organ was designed and built to the specification of the consultants.

"The Consultants to the Cathedral had been unanimous in recommending that a Copeman Hart three-manual organ be purchased for the Cathedral. Needless to say, when the organ was being voiced, we were all anxious to find out whether our choice had been vindicated by the quality of the organ. I sat at the organ console and started playing, and after two or three bars I had totally forgotten that I was not playing a pipe organ. I must say that this is the only electronic organ at which I have experienced this, and I feel that our decision has been proved right beyond even my anticipation."

Dr Hugo Agius Muscat, Organ Consultant, Malta

"This is one of the best organs (pipe or electronic) that we have in Malta and playing it gives one the feeling of being seated at a pipe organ console. I knew we had made a wise choice as soon as I first played it; since its first public use there has been universal acclaim, and even those who were opposed to the idea of an electronic organ going into Mdina Cathedral have changed their minds now they have heard it."

Joseph Caruana LTCL, Organ Consultant, Malta

The feeling among the clergy, the consultants and the congregation is that at last we have an organ worthy of this most beautiful Cathedral."

Monsignor C Bianco, Mdina Cathedral, Malta
