"This is the best pipe organ
in Canton Ticino." Roberto
Dickmann Swiss Radio and Music Critic
If I close my eyes, I can't believe it's
not a pipe organ: incredible!" Pietro
Bianci, Swiss Radio
"The particular tonal layout permits
near authentic performance of both antique and
baroque music, as well as having the brilliant
sounds for some of the more aggressive modern
pieces. Soft, sweet stops (and a very impressive
crescendo), however, are still available for
the romantic repertoire on the Espressivo (Swell)
organ which - like the poignant sounds of the
old Venetian school, available on the Positivo
(Choir), with its shimmering Ripieno, brash
Tromboncino-Regale and brilliant Cornetto Combinato
- combine beautifully with the singing sounds
on the magnificent Grand Organo (Great) Bravo,
Ernesto! Almost all the numerous visiting organists
have wanted to sit down and play it straight
away (...and then not wanted to go away!), while
visiting choirs have been delighted with the
clear intonation of the sounds available for
accompaniment and organo concertante."
Robert Michaels BA, Organist
and Master of the Choir School
of Lugano Cathedral, and Consultant
"Although I was not completely satisfied
when I heard the organ before it was finished,
I have taken up studying again - almost every
day - and I am totally convinced."
Luigi De Marchi, Parish Organist,
Pregassona
